<Teabag> I would have posted it but I don't want to piss off anyone more than I already have on that thread.

If you're trying to make the game more accessible, I'd like to ask; why? It's not as if it's a for-profit venture. It's not as if there aren't enough of us already. Go on the server list right now and tell me you can't find at least one decently full server.

This game has a lot of potential and we want to add more options / freedom a player has in game. We try to limit ourselves to expanding on core elements only. Click and drag feels like a natural progression for these elements. I feel like people will be happy with it, and if you want we can do an in forum poll.

Also, Ace of Spades is a for profit venture. We dont want to rush into it though, we want to do it right. Before we derail this thread, if you want we can start a new thread discussing future revenue models.

Oh no. I hope I'm not sounding selfish here, yes I know that if Ben has put a lot of hard work into a game like this, in the end, logically he'd sell it to make money to fund his company or whatever he has in mind.

But back to me being selfish, if the game ends up costing money, sure, I wouldn't have a problem buying it, my PARENTS would have a problem with buying it, and it's not the money. >_< typical Asian parents "You play too much already." Oh well, just my rant.

I dont like click and drag,
I dont like auto-climb.

Auto-climb,ruined the hole AOS space feeling, nobody builds trenches, bunkers, forts, tunnels, towers anymore, cause it's useless. Because you can run to the other side of the map in like 2 min,

The game was about starting up a HQ and progress from there, now you run up on a hill and shoot, die shoot die. There are no tactics anymore.there are no forward operating bases anymore.

I mostly see ''capture the intel gamemode''
I like CTF more, cause building in CTF has more way more use.

please remove auto-climb,or make it atleast a server option.
slow is smooth, smooth is fast

Simplicity.

Simplicity is what made the game good in the old days, adding stuff like this complicates the game, you have to speed up to play. Building defences needs to be a skill, not a easy click and drag task. This game will become noob friendly. Furthermore, this will be a VERY abused feature. Greifers and Minecraft players will have easier tools to destory this game.

This doesn't make sense, making good bunkers doesn't get easier, it just gets faster :P

Whole game's been getting faster and faster. I loved it as a slow-paced, tactical shooter. Now it's a fast-paced shooter :P

I am yet indifferent about this feature, I'll see how it plays out when it comes.

I miss the good old days when your average AOS player had an attention span longer than five minutes.

Yup being able to build at approximately the same rate has a massive impact on the attention span of players. Wait, this feature isn't released and that prediction is either crazy or is not a prediction, and is off-topic!

I think he just means that majority of the players weren't ADHD's, who didn't like the slow-paceness of the game.

My prediction is the game will slow down a little when 0.75 is released.
