Got a great new idea for the game?

ok, before you go, "pron wouldn't work go read the DNSL" or something like that, i have a few ideas for how it would work without being stupidly annoying to other players.

You can only shoot if you aren't moving.

You can use your shovel to dig 1x1 tunnels.

but the delay between hits has to be higher, because it would be harder to use a shover in that confined space.

no sprinting. slow pace. you can't swim prone.

less recoil than crouching. same accuracy.

max player height is 1 block, that way you chould get some cover behind 1x1 blocks.

when you go prone your gun has to take at least 3 seconds to get into position. so those moments where ur shooting people then they go prone, then they shoot you; wont happen so easily.

The idea, is for it to be a last resort for when your cover gets blown down.

Oh, it makes some more extra covers for us sniper. You toally forgot that.
Welp, prone does help for tactical stuff and sniping, alot. Agreed.

On topic: I like this idea, Although it will make more spawn camping and such those guys are already easy to kill. I support it.

Cool, but people with SMG's and shotguns would just prone and snipe people from other far side of the map... either way, /support

Interesting, however it would make for a lot more rage when campers...well, camp. Still, considering how well-balanced it seems, I think it would work out nicely.

Well when you think about it, while prone, the only part of your body that can and would be shot is the head. It evens out in the end.

If you prove, you'd have almost no cover, sure you'll be only 1 block high but moving so slow that being spotted = death. Balance will not be a problem, you'll be as exposed as when crouching behind a 1-block wall, with less mobility

1 block high and 3 blocks long I presume.
Also how would this fit into the controls?
Do you have to crouch before you go prone? Or can you just drop down?

You press Z to go prone in bf1942, so i would assume that's a good button for it. keep in mind the fact that you can configure keys, so it could really be any key you want.

for the prone when digging, it would take longer, about 1 second would be enough. I just want prone digging harder. why don`t you try digging in a prone position? It would be uncomfortable that`s why, if it gets added, it could be balanced.
