Pointlessly accurate?

For all things AoS!

Re: Pointlessly accurate?

Y'know, now that I have had a chance to get used to 0.75, I'm playing better than I ever did. Streaking has never been so easy for me. I slaughtered an entire team (15 people) in just a few seconds. 0.75 may be different, but its adaptable.

We are talking about a CEP of half of the diameter of what has been suggested - the area where 50% of the shots will land in. I am pretty sure the current accuracy model goes by the gaussian curve as opposed to the old, random but very small area one. "I am pretty sure" as in, "I think Ben said this".

Consume with a grain of salt.

To add some actual material, here's a video from a duel between me and ExiTeD in a pinpoint-wallduel map. If you watch it in HD, you should see that most - if not all - of the misses I shoot are because of poor hand coordination rather than 0.75 accuracy.

I never said it has an equal chance of hitting anywhere within the circle, I simply stated that your shots will never stray outside of the circle I posted. There have been many times I have hit somebody at the edge of the circle I posted, and many times where my shots have missed somebody in the center BECAUSE the shot swayed to the edge and they didnt fit completely within the circle.

The thing is, what's the point of making a very tiny circle if you could have just used a dot?

It's less obstructive that way.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

Because its LESS obstructive having NOTHING covering the image of your target, and just having it outlined with a circle. Not to mention you will know how close you have to be before you're guaranteed a hit, so you wont waste ammo or give away your position with missed shots.

How is two pixels obtrusive?

Besides, YOUR scope also has pixels in the center.

You are correct, but thats not the scope I use. What I posted is essentially a bunch of scope parts thrown in on one picture. You can erase all the other stuff but leave the center, and you will notice immediately how circle >>> dot

btw, its 4 pixels, not 2

Wait how can Tai say that the rifle is useless and get 0 response, but when I say that I get called a noob and I can't aim and its all my fault....?

I use one pixel at 400x300 I think. Or maybe 399x300. It works for me. It gives me a better range of vision, and is really simple. Line up dot, shoot. Having a circle to approximate inaccuracy sounds like a good idea, but in actual use you are trying to aim the center of the circle on the center of the guys head, so it makes no real difference, just makes it harder when the guys head is at fog range and only his head is peeking out from his cover...

Thank you Putin. In case anyone had some doubts, you just took them away. There is no contest. You are the biggest troll in this community? Do you even play this game, or do you just hang out on the forums and make worthless offensive comments to people that actually have a life?

Go take a shower, get out of your Mom's basement and get a life.

The god damn rifle is ripping this community into pieces. ;_;

Personally, I like the rifle as it is now, but I wouldn't have anything against reverting back to the 0.70 rifle.

I'm 50/50 on this one.
