And as I've stated before, I'm happy to pay for the game as long as it's a one time purchase instead of a microtransaction system. I've been playing this game for ages, I'm more than happy to finally throw Ben some money for it.

ive been trying to find some kind of announcement like this too. i even messaged ben on twitter a few days ago about the subject, no answer.

however I'm not entirely surprised that i don't have an answer yet, he has about 2000 followers probably trying to ask him similar questions.

In the future, probably, in its current state (the version being developed right now), nope. But still I voted yes because I plan on buying it in the future.

If there's a paid version in the future, I'll pay for it. $10 doesn't sound bad at all!

I would be happy to buy it, (depending on price)
but they could also implement features like more weapons for subscribers.

pretty sure the license for voxlap states that all derivative works cant be commercial, that's what confuses me about all this.
seriously go download the voxlap source and look in the readme.

if it goes payed, i think voxlap might be getting ditched.

so, there might be the possibility that an admin is playing an elaborate joke on us.

if it went payed that would have to get a completely new engine and ditch the old one.

unless they somehow got a hold of ken silverman and made some agreement with him.

Please correct me if i'm wrong.

The game will switch from voxlap to OpenGL in 1.0, when it gets payed.

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)
