-Ping Problem- Help me please

Well, i used to play this game a while ago and i forgot all about it, recently, i have began playing again.

My favorite server was Sham's little pony, it used to have an amazing connection (70-100 ping!)

After i began playing again, i saw that server, so i thought 'I'll play there!'
As i joined, there was a HUGE change, my ping was rocketing from 200 to 1239 in seconds, gradually becoming stuck on 1000+ constantly, without change.

My internet is fine, it's a very fast, efficient internet.
Nothing on my computer has changed
I cannot get my ping lower than 700.

What's happened? is there a solution?

If you could tell me what server it would help me.
But im guessing you live in the UK. If you go on a server which is far away from you, you will expect bad ping. I suggest you stay on Shams or go on GH or Aloha.pk servers as they don't have much lag.
If you still get major lag on there then it must be your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

Do you have an Internet plan with a data limit? If so, then maybe you have reached your Internet data limit, or are close. For some reason I have around 400-1150 ping almost all the time, and it's because my data limit is low. My Internet is fast, but there is a limit to how much I can do on the Internet.

If he used all his Data Plan he would be able to access the internet.

What? What do you mean, if he uses his data plan? I said data limit. How much you can do on the Internet before the Internet providers, who are real bastards, make it so slow you go crazy.

Even on Shams' I get lag, aswell as Aloha+GH.

My ISP is great!
It must need turning off a while?

Try turning off your computer or modem for a while.
