I have seen a few Girl players on Goon Haven, notably Salina and mouse. There are probably tons more out there.

Not necessarily. I have no doubt that there are good girl players out there, but that does not mean they are the best. They could be, they could not be. I don't think mikuli's a girl, nor tiki, but then, having never met either, I could be living a lie. ;)
Girls could be the best. Who knows? But saying that they are, definitely, doesn't necessarily mean its true.
