Most of the time, gameplay>realism.
I do agree that we could have a higher damage SMG, but I think it would need higher spread and/or recoil, to counter that, so you can't just go sniping with it like we can do now.

Oh, and SMG kills in 2 bullets to head, and 3 if 1 is headshot and the other two bodyshots. Get your facts straight before saying cereal :)

I don't see what other causes there are besides shooting them in air or destroying blocks, but your idea is valid.

Yeah, I have this problem as well. Sometimes I just run and try and grab a few grenade/spade kills before I suicide.

I would go with the bullet sign. As for how they are placed, I would consider adding a class system. Like assault - can place ammo boxes, medic - can heal people and place ammo boxes. Classes would add an interesting twist.

Its not too hard for me on Aloha pinpoint, basically the only server that doesn't lag the shit out of me, because I just head back to the cp, but I get seriously pissed when I get killed by random smg noobs who just spray the hell out of the area around me and get a couple of lucky shots that he would not have been able to land if I had ammo. Not Cool >:'(

I think the supply crate should be an alternate option to the grenade. It would let people play more of a support role if they wanted to, Instead of an offensive roll.

Edit: a class system also would be bad because it would restrict the sandboxy eliminates in the game.
