izzy's pinpoint v1.5 - raised with higher level

Pinpoint v. 1.5 - Raised


Bringing izzy's old Pinpoint map to a whole new level. Pun not intended. Made this a while back when I was learning how to use the mapping tools. It's basically izzy's old map but raised, which allows tunnelers and foxholes. Also swimmers have to dig stairs down and use a new strategy.

-> near the enemy base


Had positive reviews when I hosted this on my server, finally decided to post it in the maps section.

i liked pinpoint because you weren't able to dig down but i can see how this type of map would change gameplay

Sometimes, then it's funny watching people sprint+jump or building bridges. Also tunnels are revealed and everyone just loves it.

Pinpoint is special cause you cant dig and hide. Its meant to be a army vs army Shot-out (build) . Now its just like hmm... Vine & water its lost its specificy and spirit.

Well you CAN hide, in the water and buildings. I realize you can't dig; that's why I made this.

I remember playing this a while ago, it was fun but the map was too deep, and everyone tunneled. 5-8 blocks would be a better height IMO.

Yeah, I had to re-make this since my hard drive corrupted. Thanks for the suggestion, I've changed it to 8 now. Updated map and pictures today.

Yeah it would. Especially since I get very low ping on that one. But then it wouldn't be Aloha 1rictf Pinpoint 24/7........
