Grammar game.

Postby greace » Tue Mar 13, 2012 5:26 pm

Make a conversation with grammar and everything else you are capable of.
The one who makes one little mistake loses(except these two sentence's).

You're the first person to even speak in here.

Now I say,you have just lost kmaj.
And I hope you do use some proper grammar my friend.
Now, you can win by using more proper grammar then I do(even Irish can if he wants).

You just loss. The reason behind this is that you improperly used the word then, rather than the word than. You should never start a sentence with and, this would also disqualify you.

You lost as well for misspelling "lost" as "loss" and also forgetting to place quotation marks around words referring back to the previous post.

I don't get this game. Magnus didn't make errors, so what should I (or the next poster) do?

Make a longer post with less errors or no errors. In the end this will be a gigantic, paragraphs long post of good grammar and intelligence... So this should be interesting.

I think I understood, but if someone breaks the chain do I have to make a post longer than his? Or do I have to make a post longer (and without errors, of course) than the previous poster?

You have to make it as proper as you can but this is mainly for learning purposes so that we can all get on a nice conversation.
Consider this as a training in grammar my friend.
@Magnus
I am not exactly disqualified,i'm in the rules of this post a man who have lost but still can win if he learns from his mistakes and writes a proper sentence.

Don't forget his distinct lack of a space after his comma.
