Well since there is an obvious misconception here, let me redefine.
One can only say lies and the other can only say the truth. You don't know who's who. There's a 50/50 chance that you will get this right, but you can't take that chance since your life is at stake. Therefore, you must ask them one questionthat will get you to the Village the first time around. If you ask where the Village of Truths is, the liar will merely lead you to the village of lies. So pick your question wisely.
