Essentially, as the title says, let's brainstorm here and think about alternate histories.
Here's how it works:

User A posts a question like "What if Mojang AB made Ace of Spades?"
User B answers with God-knows-what-he-thinks and asks the question again, with a different game and a different company.

And so on.
Possible answers include stories, poems, macros, memes, even videos.

What if Electronic Arts (EA) made Minecraft?
