I scratch it behind the ears. And he changed it into a loft bed, so it didn't relate to cleaning the desk. 1 upped

He did something better than dusting the desk by making it a bed, so it was a 1up.

Because loft beds have desks under the, and look nicer, 1 upping just takes an activity or an object and makes it better.
