This is just...idk, some of it looks somewhat like Halo ( Since it takes place around 2025), and I guess the community is still probably gonna be filled with more deuces than ever.

However, the story concerning how Frank Woods survived seems intriguing.

this is going to be the funniest game ever. I hope horses will be in multiplayer, and you'll be able to have horse vs helicopter fights, that would be so funny. I think I will probably get it, but I am not sure really

More colorful, A great story, and TONS of new features, really made treyarch have a name for itself. Now they set it in the future, which is new and outside the normal, they have a better graphics, and now this could pull CoD out of the MW3 slump. MW3 Failed me. It was average were the rest were great. Cm'on BOPS II Win it!

It looks to me like they've gone way overboard with this one. It seems to be using the same graphics engine like usual. Cinematics look overdone and I doubt much of the actual core gameplay will change.
From what I've gathered, it seems they're trying to steal BF's thunder by making something that looks "epic." Honestly, I'm not fooled. They can have all the attention from brain dead fanboys and 12 year olds that they want. They won't get my money until they show something legitimately better and drastically different gameplay wise.

Now that's not to say I won't change my mind when I see some actual gameplay, but I don't have high hopes either.

Hey its a trailer calm down. I think this change is good. A future setting is nice and different after all these years of torn down modern streets. And they can't steal BF's thunder, to be honest CoD has a bigger fanbase. I play both and prefer BF for Multiplayer because BF Campagian is BALLZ. Where CoD campagian may be getting old but they could really make it interesting with this new story. And because they try making a trailer nice doesnt mean anyone who buys the game is braindead. Treyarch did good with Black Ops so I think they can pull this off.

AAA video games are stuck in a rut, too many people like "mindless modern CoD" games, and big publishers have to appeal to that audience, or they won't make as much money, so they use developers of awesome and different games from the "before-modern-CoD" times, and make them use their IP, and make a new CoD with a slightly different artstyle. And these developers basically sold their lives away to big companies like EA, and have to obey big publisher's every whim. And it's been going on for almost 3 or so years now. I mean, look at Battlefield, Medal of Honor, and the like. These developers are basically being force-fed their own demises, and when EA has sucked all the use out of them, the fire them...

The first CoD i played, Modern Warfare, is awesome. Others are pretty much shitty, with a bunch of 12-years old in it.
Also, remind you, the Modern Warfare series is made by Infinity Ward, not Treyarch. Treyarch made awesome CoDs. Also if any of you watched the Black Ops storyline, no sh*t, i almost cried. The freindship between Reznov and Mason is so wonderful.

I would like to say, that against CoD is the fact that they have been using the same game engine since CoD2, albeit with a couple of tweaks. It pales in comparison to Frostbite 2.0.

I didnt say that COD was bad. In fact I like CoD quite a lot. Also, I was referring to the games before Black Ops 2, if that was not evident. I'm not trying to de-fame the game. All I am saying is that they could have used a different, or improved game engine in the other games. I hope that they will use a better one in Black Ops 2.

You cant expect them to put the worst bits of a game in the trailer. I'm not saying that there will be anything bad in the game, but they would hardly show you the bad points of the game in a trailer. Trailers are to advertise the game's impending arrival, and you would hardly advertise your game by showing people the bad points. Looks can be deceiving.

Please don't think I don't like CoD. I just don't like the lazy attitude they have taken about their game engines. Also, I guess I like being able to blow away a guy's cover, and you cant do that with CoD. I guess i prefer Battlefield, though I find CoD more fast paced. I prefer games where you think more.
