Learning curve

How fast do you learn the mechanics of something, be it a game, equation or task.

Me? I analyze everything, takes about 30 seconds in a game, grab something with the best stats IMO, establish movement, weakness and strengths with what I have.

Equation, look at it, see an example, figure it out. 45 seconds.

Task, I look at it, establish what's wrong, fix it. Varies from instantly to a day.

I played the game, and I pretended it was Counterstrike with irons.
I then learned to control the SMG recoil with practice.
I practiced getting the most out of the SEMI following KoF's example.
And now I'm here.

I tend to learn everything on my own faster than average other people. But math... not very easy for me to keep everything organized in my head so i need paper and some time to figure out complex equations.

Depends on what kind'of game it is, For Ace of spades it probably took me about a minute to figure out the main and basic controls.

Well it depends on what I'm doing and if im interested with it or not.

Like if i was doing a problem solving question or those trick question things it depends on how much working out there is. But i can finish them in a decent time and i wouldn't say I'm bad at it but i wouldn't say im good at it either.

Although for a game most people go striaght into the game and not actually look at the little book that come with it with the controls and what not. I usually read this to get the basics of it then i get right into it with no problem.
