Prussia The Game. Chapter 3 came for sheep.

Chapter 0


For anyone that does not know there is a game called Victoria Revolutions, it's a grand strategy game where you play as a nation starting from 1836 to 1935.
There are other starting dates as well, Like 1861, 1881 and 1914.


I have now decided to do a after action report of Prussia and try not to lead it to doom.

Every 20 ingame years* or less I will make a chapter of the nation here for you to read.
An chapter would take about 2-4 days**, mainly because I will try to write as long as possible and with as many pictures and many more things. I will play the vanilla version of Victoria: Revolutions.

Also the white text on the chapter names means it's the latest chapter of the AAR, really simple.

Note that in 1836 scenario France starts out as a Constitutional Monarchy so I did have a democratic revolution that turned into a monarchy .The not so Belgium country is called Wallonia, it was a puppet state but it ceased to be after the democratic revolution

Finding a map of 1836 Europe or some other region should be easy.

So you'll choose the 1914 or what? I could play as Prussia or Bavaria, or some other small state before WW1.

Also if I won't get enough votes to play as something I'll choose a nation myself.

Even tho WW1 doesnt happen in the grand campaign unless you install the Southern Revolutions mod , playing as Prussia would be fun to the average forumer here , as it has a lot of war !:D

Remember to keep the tariffs low , not to tax rich people so much and to have a huge military , because in 1866 you will have a war with Austria driven via event , and after 1871 , if you declare war on France and occupy Paris , the Three Hurrahs For Germany! event will fire , uniting Germany. After that it's a pretty smooth sail. After you unify Germany you could look to conquer the baltic states and Poland from Russia.

I love this game so f*cking much! Nice to see someone outside of paradoxplaza playing it.

Chapter 0.5

A very short chapter that only has one war in it.
Well let's get on with it


The ingame time this chapter took was.
1st of January 1836 till 1st of December 1836





9th January 1836
After I began the game I quickly checked the infrastructure mapmode.
Then I built some railroads to the provinces that have factories in them to give them a boost in production.
The provinces in white have the latest railroads available to ones nation.





11th of February 1836
Seeing the little state named Krakow I felt the urge to attack and annex it, and it produces coal!
They were just a one province minor protected by nobody.
So weak!





17th of February 1836
General Marienburg will take care of Krakow.
Look how sad he is. He reached Kattowitz in the 10th of June, 1836.





14th of March 1836
Meanwhile on the other side of glorious Prussia.
Belgium and Netherlands are fighting their silly war only ending in me signing the Treaty of London.
Now the Netherlands won't like me.






14th of March 1836
Luxembourg is now isolated after the Treaty of London, look how juicy it will be it even has iron!
So in the future I'll wage a war with the Netherlands, take Luxembourg, take their homeland, and let's forget their colonies. Man that's so much money.





19th May 1836
In the meantime we waged war with Krakow, and gained 10 research points from this event.
Free tech for Prussia yay!
Although it still takes time to reach the tech, I don't have to produce research points now to gain it, I'll just overproduce them!





22th of July 1836
I decided to change some laws to make some people happy.
Although it still costed a lot I could handle it.
Really simple, in the end Prussia became a Constitutional Monarchy.





20th July 1836
Marienburg captured Krakow, and he got himself a new volunteer regiment aswell.
After that we switfly annexed it, paving the way to get Poland.
Wait what is that? Do I smell opium?





1st December 1836
Yes baby! Marienburg is going to Africa and Arabia! To get opium for the glorious Prussian kingdom!
This war for Oman territory would be fought twice. In the first one we will get everything except their capital, in the second one we'll get their capital.




The end of chapter 0.5

Although the next chapter has taken place the time it took me to make this one was atleast 8 hours.
After the weekend I will make a another chapter that will show you the course of the first Oman war.
Now tell me how did you like it, what should I add in the writing style. Because I am not the greatest AAR writer, this basically is my first try to write a AAR professionally, so anything you could suggest me would help.

Chapter 1

A chapter for the quest for opium, to the Kingdom of Prussia.
We'll let's invade Oman then.

The ingame time this chapter took was.
2st of December 1836 till 8th of April 1839





12th of February 1837
After some sailing Marienburg reached near to Oman Africa.
He is now ready to invade the puny Sultans lands.
WAR!





17th of March 1837
We now control the island of Zanzibar, it's time for the mainland.





22th of March 1837
Silly farmers want to get money, well they didn't revolt so they could get 5000£
Still could handle minus 5000£ in my budget because I am not really spending it that much.





2nd of September 1837
We now have captured lands that the Oman sultan counts as provinces, time for those little tradeposts.
Because a army only has to walk over these to capture them it was really fast.





20th of October 1837
Meanwhile on the other side of the equator.
Russia decided to attack tiny Georgia, because Georgia has no military the russians had no problem conquering it.
Poor Georgia being annexed by big Russia.




20th of January 1838
A new year and the Ottomans decide to retake Egyptian Eurasia.
Having two wars at once could be fatal.
Srsly my only general was in Africa





8th of February 1838
Marienburg has capture Omanese trading posts and is heading to the island of Soccorta.
Then we can finally reach the opium for the Prussian Kingdom.
And sheep too!





15th of March 1838
In the meantime as the Ottomans were fighting the Egyptians I decided to guarantee the independence of Greece.
Just in case the Ottomans will attack tiny Greece we could some islands from them.
Not that I am going to save them.





1st of August 1838
A really bad picture TBH, but it'll do.
The foolish sultan took it's only army to Europe.
They didn't stand a chance.





18th of February 1839
After three years of colonial war we finally have the opium, now what should I do?
Invade the Indus, take Madagascar?
Anyways here is our glorious empire now




End of Chapter 1
This chapter might feel a bit dull. Now give me your suggestions to what should I do next, should I invade South America,The Indus or finish off in Africa?
In Chapter 2 I'll try a new writing style just to see how would it work.
I also did put this Chapter out because having 0.5 chapters ain't enough

You should maybe stock up military and take africa completly if you already started.
Also you shouldnt forget Europe

Might attack the Arabians and avoid the Civilized powers,
because if you take territory from a uncivilized power you get 0 badboy points, it also would be easier.

Conquer all of arabia , and a little bit of persia if you want. You could get some cheap native manpower to use in the upcoming wars.
