Minecraft Hardcore Survival Event

I was working on Pinky's quote 'you ended it' when I wrote the rant. I did not specify an individual, I was writing generally. I don't really care who decided the winner, but I do disagree with the result - it was meant to be a team effort, there shouldn't really be any winners asides from perhaps a few 'awards'?
My rant was that whoever put the server down, unless the participants were keen to end it there, should've really let them go on and try to complete the event; I hope in the next one people get the chance, even if with very few numbers.

However my argument does rather rely on the participants not wanting to end the event..

Well, I don't know much about what happened, but I do know that I would be annoyed if the server was shut down before I did what I was supposed to do.

Ohh sorry about that. But yes we will take more precautions to make sure everyone that wants to play gets to play next time.

Ok. I'm yet to play 1.3.1, haven't played in ages.

I've also managed to work something out so you can put my name on the list. I will have to duck out now and then, as I still have work to do, but I shouldn't have to leave the server. Can't wait! My IGN is 'TheLynx97/1'. Can't remember, can't be bothered to check either.
