Let's say 9.
The downside is that you can snipe people with the SMG from across the map. I get 60fps, so i don't know what's the problem with lag.

For pure potential of what the game could be I rate it a 9.5,
For 0.75 = 4,
0.70 = 5,
0.60 era = 4,
0.50 era = 8 or 9, 0.50 era was a pretty solid build iirc
0.20, 0.30, and 0.40 era were all released in weeks of each other it is hard to recall what was what,
0.1 a.k.a. day one, perfect flawless 10 raised to the 10 power. day one definitely captured my imagination.

Look, I'm very hard to please, ask anyone who knows me. But I have to give Ace of Spades a 10.

It's a simple game, with shitloads of possibilities. Just think about Babel: people have to be good at shooting, to do their best at engineering to make a tower as steady as possible, as fast as possible, they have to have very good strategy, for any weak spot may take your tower down... you even have to have psychological strategy, you have to prevent the enemy tower from reaching heaven, but if you destroy their tower completely, the gonna rampage on yours!

It's a simplicity that generates complexity.

Of course, I'm taking into consideration that there are still some improvements to be made, but the concept is just mindblowing.

In its current state? 4/10. It's laggy as hell and after the rifle accuracy nerf, sniping has been a pain in the ass. I've overcome 90% of that, of course, but I'm still not the player I was back in .70. Speaking of which, .70 AoS I would give a 7/10. It felt perfect.

Of course, with the upcoming edition of the RPG, my vote is probably going to become a 3/10. >_< WHY BEN?! WHY?!!

9/10 this game is sooo entertaining, but i get bored after awhile as there is no level up and/or unlocking system to get me motivated. eventually i come back to this game and continue playing it for hours on end. this game has so much potential and it needs more content like weapons, gadgets, a better squad system. if it wasnt for that you would have earned a perfect 10.

my pro rating would be 9 stars because its plain beast but THERE NEEDS TO BE AN ASSAULT RIFLE LIKE IN MY 0.80 IDEAS THREAD(sorry for Caps)

It needs a lot of polishing, fixes and new gamemodes. (porting babel and arena to the vanilla is a great start) We need a healing class instead of an RPG. The new client is a step in the right direction, but paying for it sounds absurd.

AoS needs a free account system (think of Minecraft Classic) to track player stats and give people something to shoot for. If you think about it, an account system can slow down cheaters. Servers can ban entire accounts instead of just an IP address. (IP addresses are easy to change if you have a router.) Players can have their stats and perks (whatever they would be) tied to their account. Having an account system can also stop people from impersonating you and joining a server with your name.

This game is also in dire need of an artist. The only art I've seen is the header on the top of this page. It's trying to copy Minecraft's style, instead of creating it's own. Ben trashed the World War I style in favor of a bright-colored retro-wannabe shooter. The gen maps fell out of popularity because Ben never made any changes or new generators. Gen maps were really beautiful and looked amazing on the map, but it got old for players.

This game is on life support, and the only thing keeping it alive are the Reddit and Minecraft communities. 4chan already left. Most of you found this game from Minecraft's Wikipedia page and Notch's tweets, am I right?

Game's main feature is building and destroying, so it means buildings must be useful and give advantages. But now they are easy to destroy and give no headshot protection (remember, most of kills are headshots).
Forts are useless; trenches are best, but just because they are easy to make and hard to destroy.
