mainstream fucks such as gay-z, lil wayne, fiddy cent, drake, nicki minaj, and wiz are obvious fucking trash.

try listening to old school shit like nas, wu tang clan, tupac, biggie smalls, a tribe called quest, de la soul, or the pharcyde. this is when hip hop wasn't idiots rapping about their imaginary money, cars, and girls and stories of gang activity they've been involved in that really never happened. when lyricism and meaning mattered, hip hop had morales, and class.

if you dont like that, try underground stuff. same quality, but a different style. like most genres underground hip hop varies and has many sub-categories. i would recommend necro, jedi mind tricks, la coka nostra, army of the phaorohs, wu tang clan, big punisher.

if you don't like any of it, kindly keep your opinion to yourself. its not all as bad as the garbage playing through your radio speakers.

I listened to some miami underground Hiphop, couldnt understand a word of it, to be fair I cant understand a word in a Arkona album but at least thats in russian.

I own a Beastie boys album and thats about it. Dont get me wrong I dont think all hiphop is gash; I listen to it then make the decision I dont like it.

Im not against hoppety hippity skip but what I am against is the culture associated with the more mainstream stuff espeicially when the sexual or violent context of the "song" manages to clear through the censors in much the same way as it does with pop and gets in the hands of kids.
