Gather round kids, I have a hell of a story for you.
During WW2 food was obviously scare, especially in the cities, so people would often end up eating anything that moved, including cats. My dads mate was Austrian and as a child grew up in Vienna during the war. They used to try and catch cats, which they nicknamed "Dachhasen" translating as roof rabbit into English, as apparently when a cat is skinned and gutted it looks just like a rabbit.
