AoS Total Clan Competition (USAB vs. @ Demo)

I was just having some thoughts on the clans in AoS and how they compete, which is just is AoS right now, as it was intended, no issues there. However at this time, I've noticed it can be hard to get some clans together for matches, due to various issues like timezones, player availability and so on. What if it were possible to gather all of the clans together for one forum wide tournament without any of these factors getting in the way?

Every now and then, I'll visit 4chan when I've got some down time and want a laugh (namely /sp/), but once I came upon a competition that they had between some of the boards, The 4chan Summer Cup. Very rarely does anything come from there that can be on par with a good idea, but that particular event peaked my interest.

What if a similar type of tournament could be implemented involving the entire AoS clan base? Currently, there are 30 established clans, so I plugged them into a bracket. Having a tournament of that magnitude between the clans would be real treat I think. It would promote comradery between the clans and would get some of the lesser known clans out there, like [TSB] or [GRD]. In addition, participating only involves being on the clan roster, no one would even have do anything.

The only issue would be finding a game outside of AoS with customizable rosters and such. They did it with a soccer game I believe.

Anyway, just a thought at this point...

I would like too see a server big enough to fit all the clans then have them fight to the death/team up/whatever for a few days until they all surrender.

WWS, TBK, and Nexus are dead clans, and you didn't include a lot of new clans. Also, my predictions:

I myself intend to organise a large scale clan competition in the not so distant future, the "Nemesis II"

The Nemesis Tournament currently is a smaller scale experiment to see if the idea would work.

The chances of Brotherhood doing anything are pretty slim... i think me and umad are the only active ones

The tournament idea I'm proposing would be outside of AoS though, using an external game/medium with customizable teams/rosters and such. All that would be needed would be a roster with names, activity wouldn't make a difference. Doing something of this scale would be nearly impossible in AoS.

I just plugged in the 30 clans I saw. Seeding could be determined by several factors... average skill points of the team, random seeding, AoS rankings, etc,.

From what I could see, a lot of the major teams are going to kill each other off. Thats fine with me.

I really want this idea to happen, but the issue of activity and timezones still exists. Also, at the moment, a lot of clans have fewer than usual numbers of members, mostly due to lack of interest, or preoccupations. Perhaps it could be an application thing? No set team limit, but limited time to apply, then spread the word through every clan IRC or subsection.

I simulated and recorded the USAB vs <@> demo last night. Mikuli's got exploding knees/ankles apparently. I had to start it over twice >_<.

Mikuli had exploding joints @_@, Tank was a Tank, and despite being the statistically inferior team, and Stack botching a couple of shots, USAB owned the 1st half... However, Enari catches his own rebound to score the game winner for @ in the 2nd half. Also, Grandmaster @ 4:05 has a seizure and forgets how to inbound the ball it seems...

I made a post asking for interest as I run a couple of servers and could easily host it but not many clans replied. I'm getting a banner made by LoD at the moment which I'll use to create an official banner.
