This afternoon hompy has very kindly created a new gamemode and uploaded it to pyspades trunk.
Its name is 'Infiltration' based off of Soldat's gamemode of the same name.

The basics:
Blue team are the defenders, they have an intel and a CP in their base. They cannot cap, only guard their intel and keep the enemy out. For every 30 seconds that the intel is stationary, the blues gain 1 intel cap (if the intel is touched, the 30s counter is reset).

Green team are the attackers, they have to get the blue intel. If they cap, they receive 10 intel cap points.

The twist? Green team outnumbers blue 2:1. This makes blue team need to concentrate on intel guarding tactics quite alot, and alot of teamwork is involved keeping the greens out. Green team needs to be sneaky and plan ahead.

Definitively worth some stress and an hour out of your life. Probably my new favorite game mode from here on in.

this game mode was so awesome in Soldat, I'm glad it is getting added here. I am going to give it a try soon, it sounds very fun, good job dudes

I love it, but hopefully they could work out the balancing between the blue and green teams.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

It works that way so that the blue team needs to stay inside the base to protect intel.

Well i logged into the server, but noone was there and it kept saying that 'blue had connect captured green intel(which doesn't exist), then disconnects again' which doesn't make sense... Bug?

This game mode is glitchy if you ask me. Otherwise, great job!
But players crash alot...

Nonono, the script makes a bot enter the game, capture the intel, and then leave immediately.

IMHO greens are currently overpowered. Unless the blue are really good, they end up losing.

We are still working out the balancing of it all. I think we may make green's cap reward less - perhaps 8 instead of 10 caps and give blue 5 less seconds to get a point.

There is currently a crash bug when the server is filled, I think hompy is working on fixing that.

@hindos:
Blue receive 1 cap point every 30 seconds of the intel being stationary, it's how the game-mode works. They get points for the intel not moving while greens get points for capping.
