I just updated the script. (The changes might not be running yet, though)
There's a point system behind the scenes now.
You start with 3 points. If you have 6 points, there is a 10% chance your bullets instakill (this used to be a power).
Dying will make you lose up to 3 points (a point for dying, a point for dying to a lower level, and a point for dying while holding intel), Killing will gain you up to 3 points (killing, killing a higher level, killing an intel carrier), and capping intel will also give you a point.
Points cannot go higher than 6, and if it drops to zero, you lose a power level and are reset back to 3 points.

This is all behind the scenes, you'll only ever see "You instakilled x" if you're at 6, or "you lost a level" if you hit 0.

This was all made to stop level 3 power hording. You can still get level 3 everything, you just have to be good at the game.

Hi.

I had seem some people exploiting a bug, which got me pissed. Then later I accidentalliy found out how they did it.

There's the ground level, right? If you have teleportation 2 or more, and you shoot a block right above ground level, you'll teleport BELOW ground level! There you'll be hard to see and hard to shoot. Very useful for keeping control over the center of the level, but I also think it's very unfair.

Hmm it's true since the new update it is really annoying. Maybe you could possibly release a patch?

Updated!
See first post for information on new powers, Level 4 powers, and instakilling/losing powers.

I can't fix the teleportation thing because I can't stand that friggin set_location command. Shoot them in the head with a rifle, that should work.

Having played this gamemode once, I enjoyed the concept. personally I felt everyone should start with 1 lvl 1 power which they cannot lose so as to give the players a feel for the gamemode as soon as they popped in, rather than constantly dieing to someone who had a crap ton of lvl 3s, or simply never managing to get anywhere due to the chaos that accompanies this mode.
Also it seems no servers are running this anymore :(

That's not a bad idea. I might make it so you can't have less than one power after you gain it (so you won't start with one)
I don't want to reward players who won't even bother going after intel.
Also it seems no servers are running this anymore :(

Something is crashing it. I'm waiting for izzy to give me the errors so I can fix it again.

So what if it's a player who ACTUALLY likes giving support and covering other players? Ha!

That's their choice if they don't want to even try. If they're smart, they'll want to cap intel to get Good Teammate so they can actually be useful.

updated again
Mostly just changed the level 4 powers, and nerfed instakill a little:

Zombie level 4:
You spawn with no gun (you still have nades), but you take 1/15 damage.

EMP level 4:
While sneaking, enemies near you cannot use their powers.

Mobile Tent level 4:
While sneaking, teammates near you heal 2 hp/s (stacks with their regen)

Ninja Warp level 4:
You are invisible for 3 seconds after teleporting (nade teleporting only)

Paratrooper level 4:
Half of the time, you spawn in the sky where you died.

Disarm level 4:
Your bullets have a chance of emptying an enemy's gun.

Blocksplosion level 4:
Blocks you place explode when broken. (3 per life)

updated again

* Swapped EMP with Team Leader, probably equally useless, but at least this power doesn't make the other team rage.
* Zombie fixed
* mobile tent buffed to 5hp/s
* ninja teleport nerf while invisible
* paratrooper alternates instead of cointoss
* disarm buff to 3 times as frequent
* blocksplosion buff (5 blocks and /d)
* extended mag buff (10/20/30)
* teleport ground fix (should stop random water holes from appearing)

I haven't played in a long time, so not sure my opinion should count, but

EMP > team leader
other team rage = THIS IS FUCKING WAR
