rapid and paint

Postby hompy » Thu Mar 01, 2012 10:14 pm

Updated for 0.75. These are now included with pyspades.

Rapid
Link

/rapid [player]
will put the player in rapid mode, speeding up all tools including weapons.

If any of DEFAULT_RAPID_BLOCKS, DEFAULT_RAPID_WEAPONS or DEFAULT_RAPID_SPADE are set to True, rapid hack detection will be disabled for everyone. As of 0.75, these are all set to False.

Code: Select all
RAPID_BLOCK_DELAY = 0.26

This constant determines how fast block placement should be. Lowering this value is not recommended except for local use. Ping to the server is the effective lower limit: if this value is set to 0.1 (0.1 seconds = 100ms), users with ping above that won't have the same advantage as the rest of the players.

Paint
Link

Lets you change the color of the block you are looking at.

/paint [player]
enables painting mode for the player.

Select the block tool, pick a color, then hold down your sneak key (<V> by default) to paint.
Now you can ban griefers, and decorate your walls while you're at it.

\o/ I like them both - they're very useful scripts (especially alongside the mapmaking tool script by Yourself).

Good job as always :)

So YOU were the one who drew that heart on the wall that one day...But anyway, this could be useful in so many ways, I like it.

hompy sometimes I wish you'd hang out with the community more often... I really enjoy your scripts and you're very creative. Your Kraken game mode was enough to convince me that you were a coding god, but this is just amazing.

Would it be possible to make the rapid script be instant (At least as instant as possible) for breaking blocks, reloading, etc.?
