IRC?

I have been searching for days for a good tutorial on how to set up IRC for my server. I see the IRC in the config file, but I have absolutely no idea how to set up the program required, or even which program's to use. If anyone has a video tutorial to share, or a more detailed description of the one on the pyspades website, that would be great thanks.

first you need to edit your configuration to something like this:

        "nickname" : "stalkerbot",
        "username" : "pyspades",
        "realname" : "stalker server bot",
        "server" : "irc.quakenet.org",
        "port" : 6667,
        "channel" : "#myserver",
        "password" : "",
        "commandprefix" : "!",
        "chatprefix" : "."
    },

the you go to http://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=%23myserver

and then you start your server and you should see the bot joining your channel :)

Hay ours has done all that but it still dosnt come up in the logs do you have an idea why ?
