Are you ever tired of the colors listed in SLAB6? Have you ever wanted a desert-theme but just can figure out how to modify colors? This thread will show you how to make a different palette selection that you can use for your mods.
Steps:
Open SLAB6.
Load/open any of the shellcasing models. This can be done through Menu Bar > File > Open > Ace of Spades folder > .kv6. Browse through the AoS folders and you should see the three models (namely, semicasing, smgcasing, and shotguncasing) that we need.
Open the slice editor. This can be done by going through Menu Bar > View > Slice editor or by simply pressing enter.
Open a sample picture in paint. For this purpose, I'm loading an M4A1 with desert camo.
Use the color picker to pick a color that you want in your weapon. Zoom in for a better view.
Go to "Edit Colors".
Look closely at the very bottom-right. You will the the three values, Red, Green, and Blue.
Get a calculator. You will need to get the values of these numbers and divide them by (256/63). You may use 4 instead, though it may not be as accurate. Copy these values. Round the to the nearest whole number.
Go back to SLAB6.
Hover your mouse over the color palette at the bottom-right. Keep it in that area.
Right-click the color that you want to edit. You may replace any color. For the sake of making the example, I will use the bottom-right most color (ID = 255).
Make sure your keypad is unlocked. You will now use the values you got (Red, Blue, Green).
Press Keypad4 to increase Red and Keypad 1 to decrease Red.
Press Keypad5 to increase Red and Keypad 2 to decrease Green.
Press Keypad6 to increase Red and Keypad 3 to decrease Blue.
Adjust it to match the RGB values that you want.
Viola! You now have new colors!
You may observe that the shading on the models are a little bit off of what you expected.
Do not worry. In-game, the models should look much better.
HOW TO MAKE AN ARRAY OF SHADES FROM COLOR PALETTE.

Second, Hover your mouse over another color. DO NOT CLICK.
Press "." or period to make an array of colors. Be wary that this would overwrite any colors in-between.

Replace the palette by going to Menu Bar > Tools > Replace Palette. Select the file above. Colors will be distorted so it is recommended that you repaint the gun with the current palette.
