Gun horizontal in-game

I'm making a halo sniper. Just about everything is done but in-game the gun is horizontal? Help.

Go to "Tolls", "Set default Orient: what you see" and do this until you get the direction right.

Actually you have to go in front of the gun so you're facing the barrel then press the orientation button.

Go to "Tolls", select "Adjust Pivot" then move the model until it is in the right place.
