Exact center?

What is the exact center of the sight mean't to be? I tried 400,300, but the 1 pixel dot seems to be 2 pixels high and not really accurate. Is the place where the bullet comes out different than 400,300?

An easy way to find the center is to get the default sight and take away everything but the center 4 pixels (in red). If the bullet has perfect accuracy then it'd come out between those 4 pixels.

For distances where it matters, the rifle's accuracy won't be good enough anyway. However, I believe that since the screen has an even number of pixels, the bullet is actually centered between the center four.

From what I found, I found that if the center 6 pixels are filled, that would show up as more of a square in game than the center 4 pixels.

it seems the bullet goes between 399,300; 400,300; 399,299 and 400x299
alternatively you can repeatedly adjust it by repeatedly joining empty servers and shooting blocks really far away until the crosshairs is exactly right. if wrong, exit, adjust, save, join again.
