Gun facing the wrong way

My gun is facing sideways. Whats wrong? How can I get it to face right?

You're going to have to start over on slab 6 if you're modding. Next time use the original semi,shotgun, or smg.

No you won't need to start over.
1. Open your model.
2. Look straight at the weapon barell (like the weapon is beeing pointed at you).
3. Select "Tools > Set default orient.: what you see Shift+R

And you're done. Maybe you will have to mess around with pivots (Tools > Adjust pivots) but the weapon will be facing the right way.

It's strongly recommended to start from default weapon model.
