They look pretty different to me. Besides, ive only ever seen SIMOX's SVD (and also, as far as I know I am the first person to make an SVD mod in this game)

I never, and I mean NEVER try to copy another persons work. Thats one of the reasons I haven't been putting out too many mods, its hard to be original in an over-saturated market. The only idea I have ever copied (which I thusly improved upon greatly and everybody else followed suit whether by following my example or having the same idea later) is the "blocky-sight". I forgot who it was that first did blocky sights, but I do remember them being simple and not looking very good. I Copied that idea and made the first "detailed" blocky sight for my first plasma rifle mod back in .45

You sure? Because I saw you releasing your SVD (back on the old forums) after I released mine.

I had been playing with my SVD for a month or so before releasing it. I usually play with my mods for awhile to see how they "feel" so I don't release any shoddy work. So unless you ALSO made your SVD a while before releasing it, then mine was the first. Not that im trying to brag, I just dont want people to think Im copying them.
