Do you guys prefer weapons to be accurate in 3rd person or 1st? Like say I remade a weapon from a game, would you want it to look almost exact on the origins in the fps view or do you want it to look good in 3rd person? I'm asking because before I start on my mod I want to know what would be better.

Well, it really depends on what is your style. Both are important: You want it to look as good as possible in first person, but you sure won't want for it to look like a big stick in 3th person, even if it looks right in first. The key-word is: Optimize.
