The history of <@>

Postby TheGrandmaster » Mon Apr 16, 2012 3:11 pm

The last few weeks I along with members of <@> have put together a document showing the history of our team and some of our principles/organisational ideas and methods.
We've been around quite a long time, formed only two months after the initial release of Ace of Spades.

You'll notice the link permanently in our section: viewforum.php?f=7

Link to google doc: http://goo.gl/qscUg (use ctrl+s to save)

Hope you enjoy it and maybe even find use in it.

One of the original members of <@>. He used to play quite a bit, was involved with the IRC community from early on - he's still on IRC these days too, but plays less.

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

That's... awesome. And sorry for a dumb a question, but did you use Google Docs only or used some other programs? If yes, what are they? Just wondering.

Why is this in the News section and not the <@> section?

Anyway, great bit of AoS history I guess.
