Simple Map Editor?

Postby Liam3997 » Sat Feb 18, 2012 11:58 pm

I've been looking for simple map editor. All the ones i've seen seem pretty complicated :\ Is there a map editor similar to the Minecraft editor MCEdit? (Look that up if you don't know what it is) It would be appreciated. Thx.

Have you tried using the map editors for Ace of Spades?

All I do (in voxed) is insert trees, and props. The terrain and colors are done using the Bitmap Converter.

My tutorial series on making a map.

There is also PySpades map editor, that separates the world into slices. Then you just paint the colored block you want on each slice.

You could also just localhost a server, and build the map in game, using F1 to save.

As ChaosTLW mentioned you can also convert the map from Minecraft to Ace of Spades using the tool found here:

Unreal Modders Haven Mapping Tutorials for Ace of Spades, as well as free map hosting.

Add your map to the downloads section on the website, and I will add it to the sandcrawler.net server.
