[MAP] Market Garden v1.1

Market Garden

What is it?
Market Garden is a representation of an assault on a fairly large Dutch town during the failed Operation. Don’t expect to see any Markets, though.

There are over 80 buildings, and each are fully interiored with furniture. There are drainage ditches aplenty on the left side spawn to crawl through stealthily, and a trench system in the right-side spawn. The church has a good line of sight in most directions.

The roads curve naturally, creating hiding opportunities behind every wall and hedge, which also follow the road in a natural manner, rather than pretty unrealistic grid layouts.

Other Stuff
Ideas for v1.x so far (in order of priority);

-Thinning density of foliage in woodland spawn to reduce chance of spawning in trees.
-Vehicles in the streets. – Probably going to be larger vehicles like jeeps/halftracks/tanks as small vehicles like cars can’t be created to any kind of detail at the right scale.
-Defensive items (like sandbag walls, Pak-38′s, MG nests and so forth)
-More varied garden content. – Aesthetics only, low priority.

Spam comments are really getting intelligent. Their only post on the forum, made 2-3 minutes after registering, all with some kind of advert in their sigs.

Anyway, I had a play about in Pyspades map editor and decided to try rotating the map by 90 degrees which completely changed the feel of the map to something more like Normandie. This orientation makes all the streets extremely long with a good view range for sniping, and also leaves the trenches and fields as flanking opportunities. Give it a whirl! [/pun]

I must apologise, I said I'd rotated the v1.1 map, but I've only been able to play it for the first time and realised it was the 1.0 map without trenches that I'd done. I've rectified that, so if you've downloaded it already, you might want to download it again unless you prefer 1.0.

I'm pretty surprised nobody's mentioned it yet, though. Can't believe it's taken 4 months for me to spot this.
