Facing Worlds (Unreal Tournament remake) [updated to 1.3]

If you've ever played UT, you probably remember the classic sniper friendly map, Facing Worlds. Well, now you can enjoy it in AoS!

If you have never played on Facing Worlds, basically it's a symmetrical asteroid with a tower on either side. If you fall off the asteroid, you die. And it's really easy to fall off. Here's a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYC6H8RUgpU

I made a version for CTF and one for Arena. If you host the CTF version, you should probably set the cap limit to something like 30, and you might want to make it so nades don't destroy blocks, so it doesn't look like swiss cheese in 5 minutes.

Serious_Sim did the awesome job of coloring the towers for me. :)

I recommend you set the fog to a dark color (like 30 30 30) to simulate space. :P

omg i remember i was always playing this map ! Its great, but try to make the towers bigger ok?

Updated with CamperFix Edition (1.2). Campers on the stairs should no longer be a problem, there is now an optional shortcut hole behind the tower, and there is now less cover on top of the tower. (if you don't like the changes, edit it to your liking.)

You won't be able to see the enemy tower if I do that though, due to the short render distance. :/

EDIT: Update yet again, 1.3: You can now get to the top of the tower from the outside, to further discourage camping. I also cleaned up something I missed in 1.2

I've seen a map that looked like this, black floor off of the map, and dirt in a line like that, I believe you based it off of someones map?

It's a remake of Facing Worlds from Unreal Tournament. There is a link to a video of the original version for UT in the first post. I started to make this last fall, but I gave up because I got frustrated with VOXED and Slab6, and I gave the models I made to Dany0 to put on his repository. So maybe that's where you first saw something like it.

Recently though I got motivated to finish it, and because the ability to change spawn locations was there I could make it more how I wanted it, and there were good tutorials out there that really helped me out.
