Siberian Summer

Siberian Summer

There are three main features of the map:

1. A gen-like map with hills (it's a little flatter than a gen map)
2. A light forest. Shotguns may have an advantage until the lumberjacks come.
3. Somewhat steep banks around rivers and creeks to encourage bridge building.

I used Minecraft, WorldPainter, and eloreda's Minecraft to AOS converter. This is my first attempt at making a map, so any feedback and suggestions would be great.

I like it. Very pastoral.

Looking very good, I certainly would like to try it out. My only fear is that is could be too big.

I like it, it looks well balanced and has a nice aesthetic without being too complex or detailed. Looks like it would play quite well, although testing never hurts...

This looks like a pretty interesting map,I'm certainly going to play it once I get to my own PC (I'm actually pretty much 3000km away from home :c )

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

Thanks for the input guys. Buffet is hosting the map now (Thanks!). The trees and hills really limit sniping, but the map can feel a bit big. Squads and teamwork work well. It's hard to kill everyone in a group when they're walking through the forest.

I'll see what I can do about hosting it on my computer. I tried to host it earlier, but it would disconnect from the master server every 30-40 seconds.
