Dany0. I will be releasing my new terrain editing script in a few days from now. It now features 3ds export, and automatic poly2voxed conversion. Now we can carve tunnels and caves really easy in blender using the Boolean functions if we want.
I got the Lightmap UV unwrapping / packing working OK up to textures of 2048x2048. Unfortunately there are limitations on Poly2voxed, so you guys need to stick with much smaller textures.
Another factor is the 256x256 limit, so an entire map is divided up into 8 tiles that you need to re-assemble in Qubicle or Voxed.

The new version of the Heightmap editor does not have this limitation, you can have as many colors as you want, and you can do 512x512 maps.

These renders are the awesomeness by theirselve... but I am not sure if the map would look as cool as this with the voxel engine (ingame).
