I'm sure everyone knows about it, and I'm suprised I don't see it in the recent topics. Anyway, all you have to do is look down and you can see players through any blocks between you and them. It REALLY needs fixing (since .65 when I started, possibly earlier). Everyone exploits it and it's really annoying.

I can catch tunnelers this way even though I do pretty well by sound alone, and when I tunnel across the entire map and right into the enemy base I don't feel too bad since I know that if they cared, they'll find me (and since they don't, then that means they don't care).
I also like how the intel & command post can be seen thru if standing directly on top or below.
there's a way to lay traps for the enemy on certain maps such as bridge wars. I invite the enemy to dig down for it. They're welcome to, and they'll break like 5 blocks and then fall for 30 blocks.

Hint: it is a gigantic pain in the ass to locate people using this method. If you aren't deliberately looking for people, you won't find them.
ON THE OTHER HAND you make a crapton of noise when you dig as you are. You can hear that digging a very long ways down. Stop thinking you're invincible just because there's 20 blocks of dirt between you and the guys who want to murder you. I honestly think this glitch has its merits: Makes diggers not completely undetectable (finding them through sound alone is hard enough).
