Game is Lagging and Unplayable (FPS 5-20)

Hey,
i Really love this Game and it is Great. But I have a major problem. It's lagging like hell.

Here are my System Specs:
DELL OptiPlex 755
Intel Core 2 Duo E 8400 3.0GHz
8 GB RAM
Intel Q35 Express Chipset Family (Graphics)
OS: WS08R2

If anyone has an Idea, please share it with me.

Good that atleast my calculator can maintain stable 40 fps i couldn't stand 10-14 fps.

You should have seen the time I tried to play Crysis on my comp! :)

I don't think the game will go above 40 fps. 45 is the best my computer's made and it just don't make sense when I get 50+ in Crysis. Is it possible Ace of Spades is more graphically demanding than Crysis on max settings??

I use Fraps to keep an eye on fps.

Ace of spades currently uses a software renderer, which means it's rendered through the cpu. This puts more presure on your cpu (which is also handling everything else in the game), leading to lower fps. Crysis on the other hand uses hardware acceleration, which means that the rendering is handled by the gpu (graphics card), thus allowing better performance.

In short, the difference is in whether or not the renderer is software-based, or hardware-assisted. You'll probably get better performance once the OpenGl client is released.

I honestly dont understand why yours is lagging except that you graphics card is even worse than mine, but that doesnt matter much cuz the game is rendered by your hardware atm and just displayed by the card to my understanding.

Lol i have 50-60 everytime i play. Too bad my connection sucks. Y'know, Vietnam!
