Its not that, its the fact someone is using adfly to begin with, especially a mod for a mod. Its not even something that takes a long time, its a simply voxel reskin. If mat did this for pyspades or homps did this for some of his more complex scripts ie kraken, I wouldnt care as much.

If you want to know I don't force people into adf.ly links. That's just a supportive link that goes below the main normal link to the mod. And it's not that simple to reskin things. I mod more that I play though and yet I can't get some support? Don't want to wait, click the other link. That simple.

Besides, Ben approved this so I don't see a problem.

But guys, hey. Think about a some interesting aspect which the shareware route would lead into:

If we'll get the account system (which is pretty much sure, I'd think), hacking could be a lot more dangerous to get caught in. If you're permabanned, baooom: You just lost 10 bucks from your wallet into air. Buy a new account, and be happy.

Also, the community could possibly get a little bit closer to the better maturity level. You know, when TF2 wasn't F2P, everybody were awesome and did teamwork for the victory. Now as a F2P game it's blasted with kids who think they're awesome alone with scouts/spys/whatever.
I mean, we'd probably have less griefers and hackers over the time. Players could get a bit more into the game's different aspects, too - not just random killing and objective ignoring. That's what.

But it's insanely populated, whereas AoS isn't. Some random shareware indie games don't tend to have players like that in their servers, if you know what I mean.
