All weapons had their accuracy reduced. I don't like the rifle nerf, I don't see much change in the SMG. But with the shotgun, the change is so easily seen, that you will be frustrated when you are supposed to get that kill on that person, but then unable to do so. Two shots or even three to kill an enemy up close. An SMG would easily mow you down, a rifle may stand a chance if they can drop that shot up close. The shotgun is supposed to be the best at close range, not the damn SMG. In all the matches that I now play in, I'd rather be using the SMG than the rifle and shotgun as I know it's the most accurate weapon in the game. But with all this spraying it's so boring I'd rather post horror massacre butcher compositions in the Lounge than to be playing Ace of Spades. And that is what I am currently doing these days by the way.

In a less messier explanation.

God tier : SMG

Fail tier : Rifle

Sh*t tier : Shotgun

Two or three shots with the shotgun to kill up close, SMG can do it better. Rifles can't properly shoot damn heads, SMG can do better.

Discuss about sh*t tier shotgun, if you ever even use it.

I don't use the shotgun, but surely one shot to the face close up = kill? If you aren't hitting in the face, well, that's your own fault, not the weapons. The shotgun had way too much accuracy at longer range, that is for sure, so reducing it was needed.

SMG is the best weapon in 0.75. Even at long ranges. It should either have more recoil, or less accuracy.

If you're going for short range headshots in the first place, you might as well just use a rifle. Hell, an SMG would be even better.

But with spread it should be easier to get said headshot with the shotgun than the Rifle, which is its advantage.

That's the way it should be. In reality, the spread is much narrower at close range.

I like the new tracers for the shotgun. That's about it.

On the zombies server, it's pretty much useless now, even though it used to be the weapon of choice. Then again, now that we have sprint, the humans now stand a chance against the overpowered zombies since they have to stop sprinting to swing their spades.

Hmm, prior to .75 I use the SMG a lot. Now the current patch puts the SMG in the n00b tier.

I haven't tried out the shotgun since the new update, so before I say anything, I'll go try it out.


EDIT: Lol, wow. I've always thought the Shotgun was a bit weird, but now, wow. Perhaps using the spade is a better choice at close range. What in the world happened to the Shotgun?
