New GBL structure

I propose,

That more community members (trusted one's) are given the ability to "submit" a person to the GBL, BUT that does NOT auto add the submitted person to GBL,

A group of "higher up's" i.e <@>, will have to approve or disapprove these submitions.

Now in my idea, a lot of people would be given the ability to "submit" a person, say around 10-15 maybe more.

I'll have to agree with this one. Would certainly make it a bit easier than having to look for a GBL admin (especially since Stack removed their names from the site).

A while ago StackOverflow told me this when I asked if more people were with GBL access would be added in the near future, "More people with GBL access are added as they are needed."

I guess Stack doesn't think that more people with GBL access are needed. Personally, I think we do need more, but the final decision on who to add goes to Stack. Hopefully threads like these will change his mind.

The problem with your suggestion, is that it's merely a report feature. In order for us to globally ban somebody, we would need proof, consisting of video/screenshots, server information, plus an IP (which only an admin would be able to acquire).

Secondly, if somebody were to actually go through the process of uploading proof and gathering the required information, who's to say it's legitimate? The purpose of the global blacklist in it's current form is a system based on trusted users. Those users are hand picked (generally by myself, but recommendations are often made).

Currently, there are 3 more people that will be granted access, maybe more. As always, they are people who have been around for quite some time and/or have proven themselves trustworthy.

I seriously like,the idea of more admins. But indeed you need to be carefull whit selecting new admins.i hope this pulls of good.

Anyway good suggestion.
