My suggested balance; (changes only)

SEMI
  • DamageTorso = 25
  • DamageHead = 100
  • DamageLimbs = 25
  • ReloadTime
  • Spread = 0

SMG
  • DamageTorso = 25
  • DamageHead = 35
  • DamageLimbs = 25
  • MagazineSize = 50
  • DefaultAmmo = 250

SHOTGUN
  • DamageTorso = 25
  • DamageHead = 35
  • DamageLimbs = 25
  • Spread = increased
  • BulletsPerShot = 12

I don't feel this is neccesary, you can just go to the camp and regain all your ammo. :I

50 rounds for an smg?! That would only make it much more of a griefing machine.
Shotgun spread should not be increased, it's perfectly realistic. Shotguns in real life don't have that big of a spread.

Good idea, but I think it would make more sense if the ammo box was a secondary that you could use rather than grenades. To prevent spam/ encourage teamwork, you couldn't use your own ammo boxes perhaps?...

the spread on shotgun is fine, what isnt is how scoping with shotgun tightens the spread so much. although yes the guns are balanced, atleast thats what i feel.

@ ammo suggestions: Play on a pyspades server, I think every player is capable of getting 6 or 10 kills before they run out of ammo lol.

Currently the main purpose of SMG is anti-material. Most people can't land 2 (3 according to wiki??) headshots before the rifleman lands 1. Should we remove shovel because it is used to grief?

I was going for balance rather than realism... Not going to start a fight about realism vs gameplay, but seeing as the terrain is made of cubes I think it should be obvious as to which one has priority...

Besides this thread is about balance right? So realism discussions are pointless and unfitting.

if the rifle is ever getting nerfed a little, it must be something that a good player can master.
Not things like inaccuracy, making aos a lotto game.

The guns are fine, but that's because they were all buffed. Now all we need are more powerful blocks.

Ppl are spaming SMG way too much already. If you want to turn it into MG just say so. Oh and if you didn't know 3 shots for headshot is bad. It was after some update but then ben changed it cuz SMG sucked.

Blocks could be stronger but there should be like a separate button to place them. Would take 2 or 3 or maybe 5 blocks for 1.

And about ammo. There should be like 25-35% of chance enemie dropping ammo box that would give 30-50% ammo. Numbers could be adjusted.

Yes, it does do damage under certain conditions; I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that if you hit someone on your team with a spade while they're hitting a block, it does damage.

Actually, if a teammate breaks a block there's a limited time you can kill them, I believe that feature was added to try to counteract griefing.
