knifeymolaco

Joined there server and instantly this guy was getting head shots. Told him nice shot but turn off the bot. He was getting to many it was obvious. He called me a dumb ass. I said not to call me that just turn off the cheat. He said for falsely accusing him he was kicking me? lol falsely? He tried and convicted me and punished me don't plan on going there his admin powers obviously gone to his head. If in fact he was just amazing with his shots an accusation would not but cause a simple response of "thanks but im not cheating". Rather than an insult and instant kick from a server where someone was not just playing but trying to help weed out the cheaters. So "kudo's Knifey" for being a jerk to a player who was not just trying to enjoy the game but helping out. Next time turn off the cheat if u want to prove you really are a good shot instead of rage admining someone out of your server.

P.S. It is your server run it how u want but do not plan on people enjoying admin abuse like that "World War 24/7 eastcoast"

Sincerily a former player of your server,

~Merlin

Hey Chiefy,

You are more than welcome to play on my server but any time you accuse someone falsely about cheating I will kick you -and it doesnt matter if it's me or another player :) I will kick you

And if you think I was amazing with my shots, u probably haven't been playing very long. When you see a real aimbot in use, you will understand why

Anyway, come on back - we miss u

People who falsely accuse people of cheating are the cancer of AoS. Especially someone who does it as soon as they join the server.

If you suspect an aimbot discretely notify an admin, it is their job to deal with them not yours.

And obviously don't start accusing people of anything if you are new to the game, because you simply do not have enough experience...

Can we have a seperate section where players can file complaints about them getting unrightfully kicked, saw a hacker etc. ?
There are too many in all sections.

This is one thing that has driven me absolutely bonkers since I started playing this game. I constantly see people being accused of cheating ( aimbot seems a popular one to throw ) and 99 times out of 100, they aren't. It's annoying, causes a chat storm of back and forth between the accused and the accuser, and just saps the fun outta the game.

I think its better to go to the forums for that particular server ( if they have them ) and complain there. No sense cluttering the board with nonsense like what started this thread :)

Knifey you might as well kick everyone out because before u kicked me there were others that though the same thing of you. Whats the point of hosting a server if your going to kick every person out that has there suspicions of a player. I agree on one point to bring it to the admin. But who is that when u have not a clue who the admin is to begin with? Sorry I tried to help out in there. Why would you ask someone back after kicking them just to kick them again for noticing your head shooting 5-6 people at a time constantly. "You are more than welcome to play on my server but any time you accuse someone falsely about cheating I will kick you -and it doesnt matter if it's me or another player :) I will kick you" Save your kick effort why would someone want to come back with the hot attitude of "gonna kick you again if u mention i am cheating". It's fine like i said its your server just name it some thing more obvious though like "I kick u outta my server-eastcoast". and to the reply "People who falsely accuse people of cheating are the cancer of AoS. Especially someone who does it as soon as they join the server.

If you suspect an aimbot discretely notify an admin, it is their job to deal with them not yours." Then i guess they should remove "vote kick" then right? Idiot. Usually those being condescending of such matters as this in a trolling sense is in the very least of the same act that the accused is. ;)

Chiefy,

I know it hurts to get kicked, I feel for you.

I know it's frustrating, not having any recourse to dispute your kick, it sucks! I've been there my friend.

I know being kicked bothered you deeply because you felt the need to come onto the forum to cry about it.

If its any consolation, you're the first person I've kicked out of the server - that makes you special, do you feel special?

Just so you know, I only have a few basic rules on my server. They are:

no admin abuse
no player abuse/griefing
no asking for admin

If you can abide by those rules, you are more than welcome to come play any time.

If you don't want to, feel free to choose another server.

It's your world dawg! you da man!

Yes, I have been accused of being an aimbotter by some deuce. I think we all have. So you could say my dislike of people who join a server get killed then immediately accuse the person who killed them of being a hacker, is from experience.

Votekick is a relic, and I personally don't think it is useful anymore. It is more often than not abused to kick people with high scores or people who kill a player, or by griefers to grief. Or worse, abused by self-righteous deuces who think that only aimbots can get headshots.

There are admins, so leave them to handle the aimbots... In this case you made the worst mistake, being condescending and falsely accusing an admin of being an aimbotter! It seems like you have not learnt your lesson even after that...

Allright, I'm pretty sure this thread has run it's course. Kudos to knifey for keeping a level head.

And yeah, there's a reason I only play on servers I am trusted. As an admin on a few servers, I think it's pretty safe to say about 9 votekicks out of 10 towards suspected hackers turn out to be false - If only people would care enough to use the /ratio and /accuracy commands before casting their vote, things would be a bit easier. I usually just cancel any "aimbot" votekicks towards people with a KDR of under 10 and an accuracy of around 40-50%. The anti-aimbot scripts usually catch the botters before the other players do.

As for the point of admin abuse made by Chiefy, if it in fact was Knifeymoloko's own server, he has the unquestionable right of doing whatever the hell he pleases in there - yes, even griefing and hacking. Oh boo-hoo. He also has the right, as the owner, to kick or ban anyone he chooses for any reason he would ever like to. Whether or not this is fair, is an entirely different issue, albeit a moot one.
