it is optional, you can either place a block one at a time with the left click or right click and drag

I really like the idea however I think it would be nice if there was a .5-1 second delay per block placement instead of the blocks appearing instantaniously. I think THAT is more in the spirit of AoS. Griefing aside I think building's shouldn't be built up so quickly just to not only add to the satisfaction of building something cool but to make tactical positions take more time to be built up. I think it's fun trying to fight against the odds and build up a little base to fend off foes, building it instantly would take a little away for me.

Anyways, just my 2 cents, I'm going to vote yes.

Why not? If it becomes a problem then they can remove it. No harm done. It would be fun to expiriment with anyway

You know you still have to walk the same distance. Click and Drag is really only marginally faster than walking backwards and holding click down. It is just more convenient.

If anybody wants to complain about anything regarding the update they should be upset about the wave spawn. Building anything on many custom maps is impossible due to the fast-paced combat oriented design, we need a way to keep our building abilities dynamic and I think this feature will allow that.

They should release a public beta of v75 a few days before the official update, that way if it's really bad they can remove it immediately.
