What weapon is the best for situations?

Say I'm out in our base and I'm looking to pick off some people. Should I use the Rifle, or the SMG? I'm a decent sniper with the Rifle, but I guess using the SMG to get at least a kill in each time would work.

Let's go with charging. Should I use the SMG, or the Shotgun? I know the SMG is rapid-fire and can be used easily, but the shotgun can destroy blocks and deal a lot of damage quickly.

Finally, I'll do sneaking.

When I'm trying to sneak around to the base of the other team, do I take a SMG, Rifle or a Shotgun? SMG is particularly useful, since it can take down enemies fast. Rifle could be good if you spot enemies farther out, and the Shotgun could be to penetrate and damage at the same time. Post what you think.

Well, considering your in your base, you might as well stick with the rifle. However, the smg is the better weapon. The better choice would be to use the smg as a rifle with few shots at a time.

The smg is much better for charging. You can easily spray without opening up your ironsights and be sure of a great kill. If you find someone in the distance you don't wanna rely on the shotgun.

In the last case you mentioned you want the rifle. Its quick and clean. You don't wanna attract attention to other enemies. It's great for picking off the vulnerable.

me i use The Rifle,its better for sneaking u can shoot enemies in a long distance and a 1shot sometimes if ur lucky

Well... i use SMG when i've to assault a Command Post, killing enemies if they surround me.

Rifle when i need kill enemies in far distances, like annoying snipers or annoying jackhammering SMGs.

Shotgun its for me, the same SMGs, great damage, but cost stay more close of enemy to more accuracy obviously.

In your case, snaking to reach intel (i guess) I'll use a SMG, if you get surrounded, with Rifle you have less chance to survive than with a SMGs.

depends what map and where you spawn . the smg can be used for everything and cince they nerfed the rifle its a little better for snipeing . my advice is switch between the rifle and smg apon deaths .

Personally if I'm playing for competitive reasons, I'll use the semi, you just need to get better at reacting, I rush with the semi, and kill SMGs and shotguns with no problem, its all a matter of how you use it, and half the time in close quarter situations you can spade or grenade, so its good all around.

Just use the OP-SMG for everything.
It can do everything.
You can even kill far away snipers before they land a hit.

maybe you should focus on using one gun for everything so you become a master with it

I myself say, "Use the Rifle.". Just because I love to use it and the SMG may be a faster weapon, but the damage is weaker. This is a true fact, so no hating. And, someone earlier before me commented, "You can got a 1-Hit-KO with a Rifle, and it can also be used long-range.". Whoever said that, I totally agree.
