Who else misses the pickaxe?

I remember a long time ago we had a pickaxe and a shovel.
The shovel cleared a three block tall area but was slower and louder if I remember.
The pickaxe worked like the new shovel.
Untill the removed the pickaxe and gave it's use to the shovel.

There never was any pickaxe, all you say is lies. Any pickaxe that you see in an older video is just a replacement of the spade.kv6.

Eh, the fact the spade does the same thing now without me having to cycle through another thing in the inventory kinda makes me happy they got rid of it.

But it was fun to have a tool made for tunneling and a tool that is more precise.

IMO, it's fine as it is now, we don't need the pickaxe.

I could see why you miss it, but having a more universal tool is easier to use. Picks can't dig into the ground anyways, that would be like trying to eat Jell-O with a toothpick.

Yeah... we have the exact same functionality as we did before... the pickaxe would just be one more thing for noobs to learn about. I think we have bigger problems we need to deal with than the pickaxe...

did you know that right clicking with the spade will clear out 3 blocks at a time? The pickaxe still exists in spirit.

Left click is what the pickaxe did.
