I agree with Chiefy, intel RPG and zombies have coding implemented to reward players with certain kills to get structures and upgrades.

why not just let the player drop his gun, and let another player pick up the ammo from the dropped gun. When it comes to health placks... I play CS:S, so im still not used to the thought of being able to leave the frontlines to get more health. I think health packs are a stupid idea, but frontline ammunition isnt a bad idea.

Or we could have people be able to pick up ammo from dead enemies and friends if they both had the same gun. And be able to pick up grenades.

i think it should Come With Airstrikes, Insted of Giving you the ammo once you get them It impacts the sector that you hit. Enemys can see it but not get its contents, You Agree?
i Like the bullets better also

There are ideas of having dead players drop their ammo in an ammunition crate.

How are having health packs a stupid idea? It has proven it's usability with /medkit on certain Pyspades servers, and having a toggable physical crate would work much better than typing a command. Also, wouldn't you find it better to be able to heal on the battlefield opposed to walking halfway across the map to the control point tent? It saves time and lives, for sure.

I think with this suggestion it's important to k.i.s.s. keep it simple silly. If people don't like the idea of the support crates coming from kill streaks have it possible after being alive for a period of time or along those lines. But use the same coding that airstrike works on type /airsupport and area to drop it in so example: /airsupport G4 and the crate's only drop within a 4 block radius of where your team mates are in that quadrant. So if there is a squad of 4 people 3 crates drop 1 health 2 ammo have it random like that. Be nice if the ammo crates refill grenades also. But I think its important then for the unused crates to disappear after a short period of time to avoid people spamming the crates all over the map giving everyone ton's of crates to use whenever.

I believe that crates should either be dropped by dead players or called in via other means of transportation depending on their size. It would be pretty weird having a plane drop in a crate the size of an ant or a man dropping a large industrial crate upon death.

There ya go, /medkit, takes away the need to make it its own item, but there's no /ammo now is there?
Maybe its because i grew up in CS:S where got ammo and no health. But i prefer this game without all the medkits and perky extras to make it closer that the CoD that i despise.

I think the game should be focused on being expanded in terms of vehicles (heli, boats,...) and should be actually fixing the bugs and glitches at hand, versus crates that deliver supplies and make the game easier.

This sounds like a great idea. However I would just prefer that they are player placed after X amount of kills. This is the one feature I support kill streaks for.

This will add a new "supply line" element to the game. A handful of players can resupply a given crate, and help their whole team hold a strategic point.


Thanks for taking your time and typing all of this out. I like the idea of refilling supply crates. Maybe we could get helicopters to help transport the goods? Hmm..

I think you should be able to spawn crates everwhere. But they would be dropped from parachutes. So they would fall down slowly and enemies will be able to spot them easily. So you can't just get them instantly while in action.

And they should only be on big maps.

I think, crates should fall from the sky in different places (like in Worms) and disappear after some amount of time. It will be completely fair toward players and moreover, easy to program. I know, some may argue that randomizing will give the "newbies" some advantage over the "profs", but on my opinion, this only will make it more interesting because now newbies will be able to actually stand against profs and not die the moment they get out of the cover.
