About a certain server admin on Goon Haven..

I can assure you that my intentions were not malicious in the least bit. Is it so wrong to want to have a little fun now and then? And if you would've asked me politely instead of name calling, I would've been more than happy to swap.

Build: I shouldn't even have to explain why that's a bad idea, not to mention useless.

Seems to fit perfectly in a senario such as this. It would alter the end result exponentialy.

Ok, what I see going on here is someone who doesn't like admin controls. I can tell you that you are not alone, a lot of people don't like the admin controls, and find it misleading and intrusive to their gameplay. NO offence, at all, Steevo, but honestly, Exor is one of the best admins I have seen. Do you know how long the admins review apps before people are notified whether they have been accepted or not? It's been a month for most people, and I haven't even heard back yet after that month! They really spend time watching players carefully for behavior after they apply for admin. I don't doubt the morals of any of the admins. I've yet to see an abusive one on GH in the 1 1/2 months I've been playing exclusively on there.

As for Exor, he is in game very little, and when he is he still has to deal with admin responsibility on ALL THREE servers at the same time. If he want's to build, you have to realize that he will still be in and out of the game to check the other servers. Yes, you can do it without closing or exiting the game. If you had to do that, would YOU worry about what team you're on? I wouldn't. Granted, he could have just turned invisible, but do you know how many people would freak out even more when blocks randomly appear out of thin air? It's not a fun thing to deal with, trust me, I know. Also, the admins run the server on their SPARE TIME. No-one gets paid to do it! If you want to relax on your free time, do you think having to manage people being stupid is a bonus? It's not something that many people would want to have to handle.

So, with all this considered, are you really going to bash an admin who actually does really good work for having some off time? I'm just saying you should be a little more open to the situation, and be much more understanding of the hard position admins are put in on their free time. On that note, after everything the admins do, why would you cuss out an admin?! Have some respect, please. Thank you, and please consider what I just said.

Not going to write some huge essay like Suhler ( ;) ), but going straight to the point - At the end of the day, it's a game. Dealing with constant whines of people who have been griefed, figuring out who griefed them, and overall immature players day after day can lead to stress. Admins should be given the opportunity to have fun, and that's exactly what Exor was doing. He wasn't mass killing the entire green team, so you shouldn't worry about it. Yeah, it may be kind of weird shooting at someone that can't die, but when you find out he's an admin and NOT killing anyone, why not just move past it and keep playing? I don't really agree with how you handle the situation Steevo, especially after you found out he was an admin. Disrespecting admins should have been the last thought on your mind when typing a reaction.


I'm finished ranting, just my 2 cents. :)

Sure, i respect him and i think it's totally fine for him to have a little ''off time''! But if he thinks it's fun to walk around banning griefers and building in our(green) spawn he could atleast have been green instead of causing confusion and being blue.. Right? I seriously can't be the only one who thinks that...

I still can't figure out why it's pissed you off so badly. You seem to be the only one who's made such a big deal out of it, bud. You try being an admin on a popular server for awhile and tell me that eventually you just want to take a break, regardless of what team you're on. Sorry to say this, bud, but you sound a little bit like a fun-nazi.
