Ben, if you read this, edit the installer so that it doesn't ask for the admin password, because evn so, Windows Vista/7 users must wait 20 seconds for it to start installing.

This might be a shot in the dark, but the current system of a centralized Play page for server links requires a registry key to be set, so that the system knows what to do with an "aos://" URL.

Highly doubtful that this will change before the release of the OpenGL client, which is equipped with an internal server browser. We'll see.

Yes this will be a very nice addition to the game, but I agree with Paratrooper. If this gets added, it needs to notify you before it does it.

Usually I just open a run dialog and type:
Code: Select all
C:\Ace of Spades\client.exe -aos://123456789:32887


and it works.

I already have a backup folder, but then I change my mods ever so often.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

never have that problem after i do cmd>net user administrator <NEW PASSWORD>
