Was it just that we got a bad crowd to play Ace of Spades? Is it something missing from the game, and if so, what is this missing element that would make this game fun to play again?

I actually work better as a lone wolf, for some reason. Maybe it's because, as a sniper, being away from the rest of the team is part of the job. But even before the rifle accuracy went down the crapper in .75 and I could actually play as a footsoldier, I still functioned better as a lone warrior. Even in the real world, I have never been into sports. And most sport requires team work.
I mean, it's not like I can't function working as part of a group (I play L4D2, where team work is required), I just don't really prefer to do in this game. This may be due to several factors (getting into the discussion part of it), such as lack of voice chat, making team communication hard and the general lack of inclination in people to do so. Plus, there is also no
tactical reason to do so. Three players working as part of a group have no real advantage of any kind over a sniper hiding in the hills or an airstrike or a 12-year-old popping out of a hole he dug and spraying with the now over-powered SMG. See what I mean?
However, PXYC, next time we are both on Minit, I'll see if I can stop being a lone wolf for long enough to help you out! ;D
